The Superannuation Function at NTPC Barh marked a memorable and eco-friendly beginning with a tree plantation initiative in the township premises, spearheaded by the superannuating employees - Sh Bateshwar Nath Shukla- DGM (FM),Dr Arvind Kumar-DGM (MEDICAL) and Sh Subhranshu Kumar Das, Sr Mgr(Safety). This novel practice was introduced under the thoughtful guidance of Sh. Vijay Goel, ED Barh, emphasizing the organization's commitment to a people-first and nature-first approach. All members of the Barh family, including Heads of Departments and other employees, were invited to the felicitation ceremony.

The event, held at ED Confernce Hall on 30th April, 2024, was dedicated to honouring the exemplary careers of our superannuating employees. The ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Shri Vijay Goel, Executive Director Barh, and officials including, Shri Deepak Ranjan Dehuri (CGM O&M), Shri Amitabha Bhaumik (GM Opn), and Shri Sukhmoy Roy (GM Maint), Shri SB Singh (GM-P).

During this momentous occasion, Shri Vijay Goel expressed his gratitude and acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the superannuating members. Each retiring member shared heartfelt reflections on their journey in NTPC. The GMs and ED Barh also took the opportunity to commend their hard work and dedication, underscoring their significant impact on the organization. The celebration continued with an official dinner. The event resonated with a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the collective contributions made by these individuals throughout their careers.
